I’m thinking about donating some time and volunteering to the Democratic Presidential campaign. I’ve been thinking about it for a couple days or so. I’ve never done anyting like it. I know Peter personally gets a lot out of volunteering for campaign work, though he’s a die-hard Republican (which is OK, I guess :P), and I am generally an independent. This is the first time in 10 years I’ve been registered as anything but Independent, but I feel very strongly about this election in particular.
Plus, it would be a good way to hopefully meet some new people, possibly some straight guys my age…I just don’t want to be freaked out by the Democrat fanatics. I’m sure their out there though most of the fanatics I know seem to be Republican.
I guess I’ll look into it further when I don’t have a migraine and am not trying to go to sleep so I can get up in time for a blueberry pancake breakfast at the Yarmouth Clam Festival.
