Well, it’s the first time in a while that I’ve been worked up over somthing not involving work or politics. :hehe: There are enough people who still want to play the game that if we have to, we’ll go to another list and keep playing. I’d rather not move. I’ve invested a lot of time and energy into that list and it’s set up. I do think I’ll change the way things are run once I’m in control again. It’s a bit too restrictive, and part of that is my fault. I encouraged it, thinking it would be better, but in the end, it hurt the game too much. We need to be a little free-er and let people run amuck for a bit. The game was best when it was like that.
***The printer is fixed now. For some reason the color cartridge was causing the problem. I changed it out and now the printer works fine.
***Not liking
Pandora as much as Rice’s other books. It just doesn’t seem as well-written and I really thought I would be drawn in because I’ve been very curious about the Pandora character. It’s just plain dragging. I suppose the Pandora-voice is just not good at story-telling.
***If you haven’t checked out USA’s “The 4400″ yet, please do. It’s wonderful, embracing some of the best weirdness that “The X-Files” did in it’s early years. I am totally hooked and some day I hope to work in the “theory room”. I love the mystery, the touch of weird, the drama, the soap opera behind it all. Very cool. I hope it gets good ratings and doesn’t get moved to a time I can’t find or remember. ;)I loved watching “Touching Evil” when it first came on but when I moved, I could never remember what time it came on and when I did, it was really on too late for me. Great show though. As it is, I love “Monk” but it comes on late on Fridays and I tend to forget to watch or set up the VCR.Yes, I like shows with quirk.
***Ever notice when you are desperate to get in touch with certain people, none of the people you want to talk to are around?
