Review

Rating: 5

This book is very basic and not what I expected it to be. I thought it was going to be more about the technique of taking photographs with digital cameras, but it was more about using the “hardware” and the differences between a basic point & shoot digital camera and a SLR digital camera.

While I’m glad I picked it up as it gives me an idea of what I want to get when I purchase my more professional camera, I was disappointed because at the moment I am much more interested in improving my basic photography techniques.

I gave it a 5 out of 10 rating because there is some discussion as well as pictures showing the reader the proper way to hold a digital camera as well as step-by-step explanation on how still you should be, how you should squeeze the shutter, not click it, etc.
