SQ still won’t give up the game and now she’s mad that I got the original creator of the game to “harass” her. What I did was talk to the original creator and she was upset and agreed to appeal to SQ. SQ also thinks I put NetPoet up to his angry email, but honestly I didn’t talk to NetPoet until after his email. I figured since he had stepped down as an admin to just be a player because of other interests, he probably wouldn’t care one way or the other if the game died as

SQ simply refuses to give the PBeM game back to me or anyone else. I can’t believe she’s being such a selfish bitch. Just because she doesn’t have time to play or run the game anymore doesn’t mean that she should deny everyone the right to continue the game where it originated four years ago. All of that hard work and creativity, the different owners, different moderators and different players, all put to an end because she has a bug up her ass. I’m not the only one trying to get it back and her answer

Well, it’s the first time in a while that I’ve been worked up over somthing not involving work or politics. :hehe: There are enough people who still want to play the game that if we have to, we’ll go to another list and keep playing. I’d rather not move. I’ve invested a lot of time and energy into that list and it’s set up. I do think I’ll change the way things are run once I’m in control again. It’s a bit too restrictive, and part of that is my fault. I

A year and a half ago, SQ asked me to give her ownership of a PBeM I had been half-heartedly running. She had grand plans for it and I reluctantly did so. I was not the original owner of the game, but had been on the game the longest. I had shared the burden of running the game with another player. The three of us became co-moderators and eventually brought a fourth into the fold.
The game went really well for about a year and then in December something just went wrong, I guess. I know

So, I got my butt out of bed early on Saturday morning to head over to PortConMaine 2004. The website indicated it was an anime/gaming convention. I thought it would be a good place to go meet other gamers and hopefully find people like me, adults who play roleplaying games and Mayfair Empire Builder Games (gotta love crayons).
I perhaps should have suspected something when the girl taking money at The Table of the Gods (registration) was surprised I was paying for a 2 day pass. It was $20 for both days. I think one

Note: Written on 5/27/04…no idea why it wasn’t posted previously…
Life in a Northern town is kind of quiet. One one hand I’m bored and I would like folks to do things with outside of work but on the other, I’m not homesick or particularly lonely as of yet. I actually feel a little guilty about not missing everyone tons and tons to tears but to be honest, toward the end, I didn’t feel very close to some of them. I just think we were all getting on with our lives — though I had that emotional distress

So far June isn’t going real dandy.
On June 1rst, I was driving to work on I-295. It was overcast and rainy and the traffic was heavier than usual due to people leftover from the Memorial Day weekend. Exit 6A is where I usually get off the interstate and it is one of the more poorly designed off ramp in that at the beginning of the ramp, it’s actually an entrance ramp for cars wanting to get onto the interstate. After the entrance ramp, the interstate widens into a three lane for a few feet so that cars

I woke up again with a headache this morning. However, this time I woke up at 5am with a migraine so bad that I thought I was going to throw up and in fact I wished I would to get it over with. I took an ultracet sometime before 5:30am but by the time I drug myself out of bed at 6:30am, I was still feeling just as bad, if not worse. So around 7am, I took a Zomig — I haven’t had to take one of those in 3 months or so. However, the Zomig
