Quote of the Day: On Hating Your Neighbor

Posted in Quote of the Day by n. mallory | .

Go ahead and hate your neighbor,
Go ahead and cheat a friend.
Do it in the name of Heaven,
You can justify it in the end.
There won’t be any trumpets blowing
Come the judgement day,
On the bloody morning after….
One tin soldier rides away.
— “One Tin Soldier (The Legend of Billy Jack)”, lyrics written by Lambert-Potter

Okay, so THANK YOU for putting that song into my head.

I used to love it (sang it over and over, so I do know all the lyrics), still do love the sentiment …but….I can’t write with those lyrics in my head!!!!
