Discombobulated Thoughts - 09/01/06

  • Pugly loves that credit theft commercial where the woman voice-over sings “Unbreak My Heart” really badly.  He stops whatever he’s doing every single time to watch it.
  • I have been avoiding the Katrina anniversary coverage because emotionally I don’t think I could handle it this week.
  • I could use a raise.
  • I still haven’t found a maid.
  • I really need an assistant too.  I’ve become really bad at remembering to do things again.
  • I just ate an orange.  I’m sure it was delicious, but I have no tastebuds.
  • No more Puppy Playgroup for Pugly; he turns 6 months today and now he’s too old.  We’ll both miss it.

O.K.  You’re turn.  Add whatever discombobulated thoughts you might have into the comments area.  Obviously they don’t have to make sense — they’re discombobulated.

awww, poor pugly :( My dogs go to a doggy playgroup for dogs over 50 lbs which we found on meetup.com. Finding offleash doggy groups for smaller dogs might be a little easier…check it out! My discombobulated thoughts?
*I love HGTV, (which I am watching right now) but I sort of think that Debbie Travis is a freak.
*Today is my dog’s 2nd birthday! They are throwing a birthday party for her at Daycare, complete with “pup”cakes and party favors. She’s a bit of a celebrity there, for some reason.
*Mass State lottery is up to 83 mil, so hubby is buying tickets. We’re having our “what would we do” discussion that we have whenever the powerball gets up there. He’d give 6 months notice to his job, and my job would figure it out when I didn’t show up for work that night and they heard it on the news the next day. :)

I really enjoy those identity theft commercials, too. The “Unbreak My Heart” is good, but I prefer the one where the two old ladies make the big engine noises.

I miss my kittens and cat! We’re in Monterey for our niece’s baptism, which is of course wonderful, but I miss the kitties!

Snoring husbands are stressful. Snoring husbands who swear at you or deny they were sleeping when you try to nudge them and get them to stop are downright maddening.

A personal assistant would be nice. Still need to get that house organized. Maybe now that fall is upon us.

I really want to play the SIMS, but I’m trapped in the blogosphere

I wish people would leave me comments whenever I ask

I read somewhere on some Thurs 13 that N Mallory has a Jeep–if so, I’m even more jealous :-)

I miss my dog, well, I don’t really miss that particular dog. He was a little stupid. But i wish we could have a dog here–a lab or golden retriever.

I’d like to have a horse too.

I do have a Jeep. A ‘95 Jeep Cherokee Sport (2 door) in dark green. It’s saved my life many times. I will definitely be looking to buy another Jeep when I replace it.

I’m just very sorry that they don’t have the smaller models in the Cherokee line anymore. The Liberty line looks a bit too round and less sturdy to me.

I’ll be your assistant. I can’t type, but I’m great at kissing ass.
