It’s Official…I’m Back To November 2001
I don’t weight loss blog anymore and my partner in crime for my NTAG blog and I are still debating what we want to do with the site since our combined opinions on pre-packaged weight loss programs are changing, but I did want to take a moment to recognize a milestone I’ve reached in my life.
Back in November, 2001, I officially began Weight Watchers at 186.6 lbs and over the next year and some I lost 60 lbs. Since then and mostly since moving to Maine, I’ve gained all of that back plus 20 lbs.
Starting mid-December I promised my doctor that I would lose some weight and she’s been very proud of my efforts even though I’ve having health issues and struggling with what I could and couldn’t eat and then as the year went on had trouble just getting out of bed to go to work, not to mention exercising. It hasn’t been the fast weight loss I had that year on Weight Watchers, but I haven’t been obsessed about it either.
So, anyway, it’s official. As of today, I hit a milestone. I am officially the same weight I was in November 2001 when I started Weight Watchers.
I think that’s a good place to be, actually because it’s less daunting. After all, I already know I can lose 60 lbs.; it was the 80 lbs I wasn’t sure of. ![]()

That’s a great milestone, yay! That’s how I first found you, over at NTAG. I didn’t know you were folding it, but I can certainly understand that.
Keep up the great work!

Well, we haven’t decided to fold it, but I think we’re going to head toward something more toward “healthy living” rather than “obsess over your weight”.
