HAHAHA! Twizzlers!

It's amazing to me what pets will eat. Our older cat used to eat almost anything we would drop on the floor: beans, tomatoes, olives, what have you. She doesn't do it so much anymore.

Very cute pic!

I got it away from him with a bribe of a puppy treat but that dog is a living garbage disposal, I swear.

I meant to ask the vet on Wednesday if licorice was bad for puppies.

Puppies eat little bits of food they find, whereas kittens (for the most part) just play with it as if it were another toy placed there solely for their enjoyment (along with shoes, plastic bags, used tissues, and the shower curtain).

Fortunately, they don't really chew up things, just bat them about. They love to stick an entire foreleg (arms) into my sport slides, I have no idea why!

The clawing of the bottom of the shower curtain does concern me, so I did close the bathroom door today. I was afraid I'd come home and find it -- curtain, rod and all -- on the floor!

Oh yeah, as for the licorice, while I'm sure it's not necessarily good for him, I imagine it won't hurt him much. I thought the only thing really toxic to dogs is chocolate (or am I mixing something up?)

I would be curious to hear what the vet says, though.
