How Many People Switched Phone Carriers To Qwest Yesterday?
Just curious.
And don’t worry. I do have a post coming on the subject of the domestic phone number gathering scandal, but I wanted to wait until tonight or tomorrow when I had time to really sit down and focus and gather all of my thoughts and not just rant. My friends have been quite proud of me actually for not over-reacting the last 24 hours. But then…I’ve known all along, haven’t I?

I can’t believe they’re still doing that. My mother fell victim to it about 8 or 9 years ago. And it was Qwest too. They get you to say “yes” to something, and then they mess with the recordings to make it look like you said “yes” to switching your phone service. I can’t believe they’re still doing that, and getting away with it! [/rant for fear of hijacking]
Thanks for the suggestions on my time management issues. I need as much help with that as I can get! Let me know about the book if you can remember the name or what have you - I did get a book about organizing your office, and it was even autographed, which was kind of cool. But I just need MORE help. I told you, I wish I had enough money to hire someone to deal with me for a week. LOL

Since 63% of Americans do not find a problem with the NSA compiling phone records and doing so is allowed by a law that Bill Clinton signed in 1994 AND since the Qwest CEO is under indictment for a few crimes I imagine not too many have switched.
Besides, the companies listed have privacy notices which state they will release your records per legal requests. Because of the 1994 law, they had a legal request.
