Yeah, we're (re)learning a lot of those same things with the kittens, although they are well-litter-trained. But the chewing of cords, the sharpness of teeth, the amazing things they think are playthings, all that. Whew.

I'm sure the cats and dog will come to like, if not love, each other. Sounds like he's keeping you busy, anyway!

Puppies are sure a mixed blessing. Cute though. Once you have him trained, he'll be a watch dog, playmate, company, bed warmer, etc etc... I love my dog, even though he's now a year and a half old and entering that adolecent, "I don't have to listen to you" phase. I think real "puppy" hood is easier by far than this. :>

OK Last night he threw a temper tantrum. No, really. It was a real, honest to God temper tantrum. Turned his back on me, pouted, sulked, didn't want to be petted or touched -- all because I did not want him crawling on my head while I was trying to go to sleep.

Very odd.

And I felt so bad about leaving him in that small pet carrier that everyone said was fine that I went out and bought a bigger, more open crate yesterday. He was still whining and crying when I left today. We should be allowed to bring our puppies to work.
