They are one of the original Elephant Six bands (a now defunct record label that is widely respected by music snobs worldwide). If you like Cannibal Sea, you will of course love their previous albums. Plus the band members are also members of Ladybug Transistor and The Finishing School-- both bands have a similar sound to Essex Green. They will be touring Europe in early April and coming back to US for a round of touring. Now that the album's released, I sampled the album. On second thought, I don't even like the song I thought I liked in the first though on Cannibal Sea. Garden Ruin still holds promise though.
