That one picture of the game closet was just one of the game closets and most of the games were rare out-of-print games worth quite a bit each. El never did find her ruby jewelry. That blue computer you see in the one computer was a month old or so when the hurricane hit and was rusted completely through when they were allowed back in. El is still living with her mother in an overcrowded house but PW and her fiance just bought a house in England last week. Oh, and they never did find their landlord.
