So, you might have noticed, I did a design change, which I believe I mentioned previously. I went with “Almost Spring” by “Beccary“. I might work on some alternate CSSs for it later.
I’ve been playing around with my plugins too. You can see the entirely too long list on the Plugin’s in use page, but the two I added most recently were one you the reader can’t see — WP-Dash, which let’s me leave myself post-it’s and allows me to better manage my drafts of posts — and my amazon wishlist which

It’s weird the things that come out of my mouth some times.
Yesterday during the Sunday writing group at Panera bread, one of the group was commenting on the fact that Mariska Hargitay of Law & Order: SVU fame is Jane Mansfield’s daughter. I think someone asked if Jayne Mansfield was still alive and I said she was dead and then I said, “You know how I know? I know because she died not far from my home in Louisiana.”
What I mean is that she was killed going through an intersection of some sleepy town on some backroad

So, here I am hoping they’re going to cancel my 4pm Friday afternoon meeting.
And you know they won’t.
In fact, you know they won’t, and you know it’ll run over.
Come on! It’s the first really pretty Friday of the year and I have a new puppy! I want to go home and play!

Well, when I decided to get a puppy two months ago, I knew that there would have to be changes made. I knew that there would have to be compromises made. I knew that having a dog is not the same as having cats.

It’s just so rare when I catch Aloof in a moment of quiet intraspection where he’s not napping where he’ll let me take his picture without running off and this was such an awesome Kodak-type moment, I couldn’t believe I had my camera and the opportunity.

Don’t forget to stop by today’s Friday Ark!

Of course everyone’s been voicing their opinion the last few weeks about whether or not Zacarias Moussaoui should have or haven’t been sentenced to death for his part in 9-11 though technically he was in prison on September 11, 2001 and most of the information he had to tell the FBI at the time was in at least one report sitting on one FBI manager’s desk unread.
Personally I haven’t had much to say about it anywhere. Not here. Not around the blogosphere. Not even around the water cooler or at the local Starbucks.
I kind of think he’s

Think Progress has both film and transcript of Katie Couric’s interview with Senator Bill Frist from Tuesday’s Today Show; here’s the transcript:
COURIC: Let me ask you about another aspect of your plan, because I know the $100 rebate is just one component, that it’s tied to another controversial proposal, which allows oil companies to drill for oil in the Artic National Wildlife Refuge in Alaska. That has repeatedly failed to pass Congress. Some question the Republicans’ sincerity because they know in the view of these critics that this won’t pass.
FRIST: Let’s talk about it. We passed it last

Well, I’m absolutely fascinated by the fact that the Main Stream Media doesn’t appear to be reporting anything about the fact that Ohio’s Primaries yesterday had major issues with the voting machines.
Akron’s NewsNet5.com reported that a judge ordered the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections to keep the Garden Valley Neighborhood House polling location open until 9:30 p.m. when poll workers had trouble setting up equipment in the morning, which meant that that the polling place didn’t actually open until 1:30 p.m for voting. (Remember, Cuyahoga’s Board of Elections is under investigation for voting fraud from the 2004 elections.)
