All in all it was a good day of elections (great news in Virginia governor's race, among others). Ohio voters rejected election reforms that were probably sorely needed, but I think the nuances of election law are difficult to grasp. However, the people, who were campaigning to repeal the law to protect against gay discrimination, are focusing on a constitutional ammendment to make gay marriage illegal, so there's a new fight starting to brew. Basically we won the battle, but the war is just heating up. But, you're right, elections went fairly well all over yesterday -- we won't talk about Texas. ;) Yes, I was quite pleased.
