Wanted: One House Elf

I know this’ll bore you to tears. Tuff. I’ve got to do something to hold myself accountable and having this sticky in the corner will remind me.

So, here’s the two lists of things to do before I leave for DragonCon (Sept 1rst) and my parents arrive (Sept 16th). I’ll cross things off as I get them done…and sadly I’ll add or uncross things as necessary.

Pre-DragonCon List:

• Buy two pairs of jeans that fit. (by Aug 30)
• Buy a backpack purse. (by Aug 30)
• Pack. (by Aug 31)

Pre-Parental Arrival:

• Sort Clothes & Shoes (by Aug 14)
  • Pack up all clothes too small and out of season.
  • Get rid of clothes out of fashion.
  • Get rid of shoes not worn in a year.
• Straighten bedroom. (by Aug 14)
• Clean downstairs bathroom really good. (by Aug 14)
• Organize & Clean upstairs bathroom. (by Aug 21)
  • Sort linen closet.
  • Sort under sink.
  • Sort shelves.
  • Hang new shower curtain.
• Clean & Organize Kitchen (by Aug 28)
  • Clean all dishes.
  • Organize plasticware.
  • Scrub all shelves and put down shelf liners.
  • Organize pots & pans.
  • Clean out fridge.
  • Pull out washer & dryer and mop beneath.
• Organize & clean office. (by Sept. 10)
  • Sort old boxes and throw out stuff you haven’t used in a year and aren’t going to.
  • Hang new curtain rods and curtains.
  • Sort bookshelves.
  • Shampoo floor.
• Clean out car & vacuum. (by Sept 12)
• Hang pictures in the hall. (by Sept 13)
• Make sure everything is vacuumed, dusted, swept and mopped.(by Sept 15)

Possible projects (Extra credit):

• Paint long bookshelves.
• Paint shelf for upstairs bathroom.
• Put up wallies in kitchen.

Hmmmm…. obviously I need to start on the second list before the first list….hmmmm…
