Discombobulated Thoughts — Aug 6th, ‘05

• I miss Paige Davis on Trading Spaces.
• I like how Trading Spaces now uses two carpenters and they go back two weeks later to see what the homeowner has changed.
• I know for pretty certain that my daily headaches/migraines this week are the result of me not taking my blood pressure med — I’ve been a naughty girl!
• The hostess of the baby shower made little sandwhiches using cookie cutters of little hands and feet. It was precious. As my mom collects cookie cutters, the hostess gave them to me.
• Mickey and Minnie had baby number 3 last week.
• The salon I get my hair done at now is a day spa with two masseuses specializing in injury massages. I’m going to call on Monday and see if I can get a day of pampering with a massage, a pedi and a mani.
• I have such a bad issue with humidity and mildew on my tiles in the kitchen. The humidity is so high that the floor gets slippery during the day. I wonder if laying a large floor rug down would help or make it worse?
• Tried Mediteranean Food today. I wasn’t impressed which is odd because I like the recipes I’ve tried, just not the restaurant. Plus the host was rude.
• N2 isn’t coming to visit after all. The cost of the tickets went way up.
• How do you explain to a 15 lb cat that he is hurting you by trying to wedge himself between your back and the back of the chair?
• I am having tons of trouble getting the smaller nose studs in my nose. I can’t tell if it’s because my nails are too long and hinder in holding the stone or if it’s going to be a real problem.
• Peter is trying to figure out how to set up a speaker-type phone on his end of the computer and earphones and a microphone from my end of the computer using Yahoo!Messenger so I can continue to roleplay with them in New Orleans and actually hear what’s going on.
• I need to find a cheaper version of PC Anywhere to set up on my parents’ computers so I can dial in and fix things when they break stuff.
• I’m thinking of getting them a webcam for Christmas and myself one so we can see each other more often.
