Google Ads Make Me Giggle
Sometimes I like to shuffle through my posts here and look at the google ads and see how they compare with whatever post they appear in. I think the theory of the google ads is that they are supposed to be related somehow to the post to lure interested readers away.
However, several times I’ve noticed that my post on Iraqi civilian death has about a 50/50 chance of having an ad for recipes. I haven’t figured out why.
My post about access to Air America’s website being denied when right wing websites are not, repeatedly has an ad for coffee. Again, not sure why.
When I spoke of the hypocricy of a world that is outraged by bombings in the Western world but uncaring about the daily bombings in the Middle east, I get an ad for a faster internet.
I don’t get how they’ve worked this out. *shrug* At least it amuses me.
