More Complaining About PSP Tubes

Posted in Geekery, Computer & Gadget Talk by n. mallory | .

Well, I downloaded a 30-day trial copy of Paint Shop Pro. It’s $99 to buy it and since I only want it to open .psptube files and convert them to .jpg and .png files, I am very reluctant to spend the money. I really think they should make a cheaper software program that is just a viewer/converter. I still think it’s ridiculous to have a image type that doesn’t work on the web or is only viewable in $99 software.

Anyway, I’ve started toying with a fairy design for this blog using work from rendermepink.com which I think is fantastic and wonderful. I really have a lot of respect for anyone who can turn pixels or pencils or paint into an image only seen in their mind’s eye.

Since I’m going out of town over the weekend and likely won’t have internet access, I’m going to have to make a dummy design on my hard drive and then convert it to WP when I get back. That is, if I have time to play with the computer. I might be having too much fun visiting and sight-seeing.

Hello, just wanted to add that PSP is not used just for viewing purposes?!? Its main use is the creation of graphics. Tubes are used for the creation of graphics, you don’t use PSP in order to turn images from tubes to .jpg files and stuff. I know. I’m a graphic designer and I use PSP to create graphics.

I have psp and I mostly use it to convert psp tubes to png tubes. I do know there is some free downloads on the web that will convert the psp into png. My PSP software came with my computer so it’s convenient for me to use.
