Foobar

Posted in My Life, Geekery by n. mallory | .

Had a little panic attack last night that really messed up my sleep and then blossomed into a really good panic attack this morning.

Apparently, in setting up the email notification registration for The Weekend Chef, I accidently left the code for Nothing Tastes As Good in one of the files that stored it in the MySQL DB. This meant that people were registering for the wrong updates.

It also meant that people I know in real life who I didn’t want to know about either of my personal blogs were acquiring a link to my weight loss blog. I purposely do not link to either personal blog from The Weekend Chef and unfortunately, I think one of them is really curious enough to check out the link.

Well, the damage is done, I guess. Hopefully, she’ll be able to keep her mouth shut. I don’t need for everyone I know to know about these blogs. I’m paranoid enough to think that my old boss found the old blog and that helped fire the fuel to get rid of me.

I mean, the whole point of having an alias is so that I can go incognito. ;)
